The Word

“And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever…” Jeremiah 32:39

These words in the context of the book of Jeremiah were God’s intention toward Israel. However, God’s purpose from the creation of man was to build and gather for himself a people to worship him forever. This is the story of the Bible from the beginning of the Old Testament to the end of the New. This is our purpose, for through Christ we become part of the magnificent story of God building his beautiful community of worshipers. God from the beginning of measured time has been positioning all things to glorify him!

Every heart has as its highest purpose and call the worship of Yahweh God. He deposited that hunger within us, and the heart will never find rest unless it finds through Christ the destiny for its habitation. Yes, we were made to glorify God!

Your will is for me to find myself by losing self in a lifestyle of worshiping you, Father. Thank you for providing all things necessary to accomplish my honoring of you. Amen.

"May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven."
