“The disciples saw Jesus do many other miraculous signs in addition to the ones recorded in this book. But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.” John 20:30,31
There were so many things that occurred while Jesus walked the earth. Things which caused stunning, deep, and divine impressions on the human soul. Things which liberated the heart and brought peace to troubled minds. Lives were altered through compassion, hope imparted, and confidence secured for the future. There were life-giving comments and instruction as the disciples walked along paths, traveled ancient roads, sat under the shade trees to rest, and reclined at tables. There were encounters and conversations with people, like the one with the woman at the well, and multiple miracles performed.
Even though much more happened, contained in the writings of John is more than enough information to reveal Jesus Christ as the Son of God, giver of grace, lover of our souls, and Savior for the world.
Thank you Lord Jesus for all you have done to reveal to me your love, mercy, and grace. You are the Messiah, the only way to the Father and I believe in the power of your name and embrace your will for my life. Amen.
"Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."
